I became aware of the concept called Transformational Leadership while studying a leadership module designed for coaches. During this time, I ran across three valuable resources that helped me integrate Transformational Leadership into my coaching practice. I hope they provide value to you as well!
The first resource is a scholarly article that has helped me craft keynote speeches, articles and the like. I find it fascinating as it points out the relationship between leadership style, intuition and emotional intelligence. It turns out women often exhibit a Transformational Leadership style. The second resource explores the power of conversation. Conversations include more than just talking and sharing information. A Conversation is more than just the distance between telling and directing versus listening and understanding. Conversations can become a dynamic factor in separating those who are successful and those who are not. Conversation is the birthplace of transformation and Transformational Leadership.
