Undoubtedly, one of the fastest ways to increase your sense of flow and accomplishment is to “Strong Start” your day. There are five easy things you can do as a morning ritual to increase your sense of self, life-leadership and being “with it”!

To get best results, there are two main points you must adhere to if you want to reap the full benefit of this practice:

First, be consistent! Most people report a huge shift in their energy and an increase in their sense of accomplishment after they have fully dedicated five to seven mornings to this ritual. To maintain your momentum, keep it up for as long as you want to reap the benefits.

Second, keep your phone and computers off until this ritual is completed. Make this your go-to first thing in the morning instead of plugging into electronic devices and information.

Here are the steps:

1.     Practice a moment of gratitude

2.     Practice 1 to 2 minutes of stillness or meditation

3.     Plan out your day

4.     Practice 1 to 2 minutes of gentle and easy movement or stretching

5.     Give yourself 1 to 5 minutes of creative time
