A Gift from Lyn & Annie
As many of you know, 2025 was the year my partner Annie and I chose to come together and blend our lives. At the ripe ages of 65 and 64, we courageously gifted ourselves a magical, unconventional shift in what our future will look like.
One of the most meaningful aspects of our connection is how deeply aligned our work is. Annie is an internationally renowned Shamanic Healer. I am a Master Certified Coach with an international reach. Our companies both carry the word soul in their names, and our work channels information to our clients exactly when they need it.
From this shared resonance, we decided to weave our intellectual property and business philosophies together.
Annie and I created something special for you: a set of journal prompts drawn from our shared wisdom, the SoulSalt Field Guide and Soul Song Healing. These prompts are designed to help you turn inward, settle into truth, and surface the clarity that already lives within you.
Before you download the prompts, we want to offer a few reminders about why journaling matters and how to use this gift for your greatest good.
Why Writing Helps
Writing helps regulate emotions.
Neuroscientists like Matthew Lieberman have shown that putting words to internal experience decreases emotional reactivity. Journaling helps calm the nervous system so wisdom can rise.
Journaling strengthens self-trust.
When we document our thoughts, instincts, and insights, we create evidence of our own inner guidance. Over time, we begin to see our patterns, our progress, and our truth with greater clarity.
Writing accelerates growth and integration.
Antonio Damasio’s somatic-marker research reminds us that the mind and body store meaning together. Writing pulls stored impressions, sensations, and intuitions into conscious awareness. From that awareness, we can author what comes next, rather than staying reactive or lost in a trigger.
How to Get the Most Out of These Prompts
Think of these prompts as conversation starters with your soul.
Choose one prompt at a time. Move slowly and allow your system to catch up with what you are discovering.
Set a container. Give yourself 5 to 15 quiet minutes. A cup of tea, gentle music, or a familiar chair can help anchor the ritual.
Write without editing. This is not a performance. Let the pen move faster than your inner critic.
Pause at the end. Take 10 seconds to breathe and ask, What did I just learn about myself? What does this want me to remember today?
Return often. These prompts are cyclical, meaning you may discover new layers of yourself each time you revisit them.
Use them daily, weekly, or whenever you feel the nudge. Let them support you through transitions, breakthroughs, and quiet recalibrations.
We’d Love to Hear from You
If a particular prompt opens something meaningful, an insight, a release, or a moment of clarity, we invite you to share it on social media and tag us.
Let others witness your journey.
Give someone else permission to begin theirs.
And allow us to celebrate your breakthroughs with you.
With courage and reverence,
Lyn & Annie
