Take a Breath—And Let’s Gear Up for What’s Next
Time out! Let’s take a moment. In this guide post number six we’re going to catch our collective breath. In the pause, let’s look at the solid amount of work I’ve laid out for you thus far.
Let’s give you a chance to go deeper or to catch up. You’ll want to do this because we’re just getting started. We have a valiant, exciting, and honorable journey ahead.
So if you’re willing and in this to win, review the following challenges/opportunities for growth I’ve laid at your feet.
They are:
First, I invite you to revisit the actual message I sent out the day after the election.
This is where I talk about becoming the bison who goes into the storm. Listen to the voice memo I made for you. Reconnect to being the bison.
Next, I challenged you to tune into your inner compass.
Your job was to start leading a life on purpose by listening to your inner wisdom. Here’s the tutorial and assignment if you missed that. I highly recommend that you go back and do this exercise and learn to listen to your head, heart and gut.
Next, I asked you to tune in and align with your Northstar.
I’m advocating for you to be more true than you’ve ever been before. I call what we are working with your plum line or your Northstar, in this assignment and message, we support you to stay in your own integrity, no matter how stormy the days ahead will get. Who couldn’t use a greater amount of integrity right now? Integrity feels amazing even in the darkness of the times that we might be facing.
The last challenge was for us to be smart about what we consume in terms of information.
I’ve asked us to up our game in terms of using critical thinking. No self-respecting self-authoring adult will want to be caught with their information pants down. Use reliable sources, understand the facts and details, and stay wisely informed.
As I just mentioned, there’s more power and more potency ahead in our journey. These guideposts are placed here for your review to support and sustain you. Be brave and have courage because where we’re going, the future seems ominous. However, these guideposts are designed to get us through to better days.
